About Me
Harjodh is an independent international trade and intellectual property lawyer dual-qualified in India and Ontario, with over eight years of experience advising clients across public and private sectors.
He has worked with key government bodies including the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (Ministry of Commerce & Industry) and the Ministry of Steel, where he contributed to Free Trade Agreement negotiations, anti-dumping investigations, and market analyses impacting national trade policy. His experience extends to consulting for the Permanent Mission of India to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, and earlier engagements with the World Trade Organization and Indian Music Industry on copyright policy and procedural reform.
In his independent capacity, Harjodh advises clients on IP portfolio management, international trade compliance, and transactional documentation—bridging the legal and commercial dimensions of innovation and global trade.
He holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights from National Law University, Jodhpur, and is known for his analytical and policy-driven approach to problem-solving. Harjodh regularly collaborates with startups, legal teams, and government stakeholders to align IP and trade frameworks with global best practices.
